Virgin/Qatar transfer in Brisbane

Hi Everyone

Long time lurker first time poster.
I have just booked my first ever award flight. My first overseas trip.

I used velocity points to book the following all in business class on the one booking.
Sydney - Brisbane
Brisbane-Doha-Zurich

The Virgin flight from Sydney is supposed to land at 8:30pm while the Qatar Airways flight departs at 10:40pm

What happens when I land in Brisbane?
Do I need to collect my bags at the Domestic terminal, make my way over to the international terminal and check in with Qatar Airways?

With all flights on 1 PNR bags will be interlined at BNE, by VA. You should get both boarding passes at SYD, but need to process AU border security and emigration at BNE international

I think QR directs Business class passengers to the Air NZ lounge in BNE...
