Just announced I think:

Virgin has rolled out a “Cheers to 20 years” sale to celebrate two decades of the airline, which started on Thursday and runs until Tuesday.

The sale has fares from just $69, including those with booking dates into 2021 and many fares to and from Melbourne in anticipation of that state’s borders opening.

Tasmanian travellers can snap up flights from Hobart-Sydney from $119, Hobart-Melbourne from $99, Launceston-Melbourne from $79 and Hobart-Brisbane from $139.

Fares are for travel on selected dates and destinations between November 25 and March 31, with some sale fares available around the Christmas holiday period.

VA’s timetable is highly unreliable into Tassie (still) so unless you can afford to be shuffled around a bit would be wary.

QF now has a limited sale to LST until Monday...

Outside of lockdowns when we had a few months of no interruptions schedules remained pretty consistent.

However the last month has been a bit messy due lockdowns

Is anyone noticing you can't buy business from Perth-Hobart? Just did dummy dates on 1st-8th November and the max fare you could buy was Flex.

Suspect it may be to get around the SYD/MEL border restrictions ex-Qld and to take advantage of the leisure traffic that would've otherwise gone via SYD or MEL.

Whether if the OOL-Tasmania routes returns next year remains to be seen

The Beach is Calling sale is celebrating the launch of the following new seasonal routes between OOL and:

LST
Meanwhile here I sit with SYD-LST return in business on 24 December, just waiting to cancel them because of the premier not giving me any confidence I can go.

Sorry mum, looks like I won’t be able to see you at Christmas at this rate.
