Virgin Seat Assignment

Sister-in-law is travelling ADL - BNE on Thursday at 1800. She asked me to do a seat assignment for her this afternoon. I was unable to see where I could do that anywhere on the Virgin site. I have never been inside a Virgin aircraft (QFF LTG), so I do not know my way around their web-site. As she is only a no-status nobody passenger am I right in assuming that that is what is stopping me making an assignment and that when check-in opens at T -48 I'll be able to do it then?

If you don't select seats at booking then you need to call them.

Since the changeover to sabre you can now only select seats on line at the time of booking or once check in opens at t - 48, regardless of status. You can call guest services and request a particular seat, but what is offered will be based on status
