The cost of a russian visa would blow the cost of this right out.

I thought some EU countries had visa free entry but that looks like it's gone. I could get a third citizenship from one of the countries that still has visa free entry but would probably take too long.

I can go visa free to Russia for 14 days but unfortunately I could not take advantage to this deal. I could even fly an extra leg from VVO to PKC (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky) on S7 to visit my "home town".

That's not bad actually for the SC. With an APEC Card the visa issue becomes irrelevant as well.
