VS have announced a partnership with Delta and both are VA partners.

So my initial thought as a VA/WP and VS/PS is how can I make this work for me.

Does this now mean the VA RTW is actually a full RTW or is the VA-VS limited codeshare still a block, otherwise is there any nice little VS or Delta RTWs which may work and still allow VA status to be recognised?

Sorry for the noob questions but I cannot fathom whether this new partnership holds any value to us.

nothing special other than the standard benefits you get today on DL or VS flights . On thing could be a disadvantage is codeshare, as the published rules for earn state that it technically will not earn ( eg a DL flight operated by VS and vv)

VS - You cannot earn Points on codeshare flights other than those operated by Virgin Australia.
DL -You cannot earn Points on codeshare flights other than those operated by Delta Connection carriers and Virgin Australia.
