Hi all
First-time poster, long-term lurker.
Has anyone else noticed how (relatively) difficult it is to earn status credits when flying VS under the new status credit system?
We're flying J SYD-LHR (via HKG) later in the year. On VS, it's going to earn us 260 status credits return.
If we were flying VA/EH/MH, it'd be more than double that at 560 status credits.
When we booked ... a few months ago ... VS, SQ and QF were all the same price. We were going to go with SQ (we're Star Gold), but chose VS because of the Velocity tie-up (and DJ status is more use domestically). Now I'm feeling a bit jipped!
Any idea why the VS earning rates are so low when they're "part of the family"?
