Personally you would have been much better stopping in SD rather than continuing on too Tijuana!Much better bar scene.

Doesn't sound like they have been wiped-out, it seems to me that they made a shrewd business decision. Confronted by a financier who refused to renegotiate the terms of the mortgage, they basically said "OK, here's your property back, our operation hasn't made a profit for two years and it's current value is considerably less than the value of the mortgage, but hey, if you want to repossess it, knock yourselves out".

I believe you could refer to it as 'calling their bluff'.

Thats why people who know me in my work don't do it Often they don't seem to like the result when they think they can win by doing this.
