Waiting family pooling SCs + need to change family pool member....

Hi guys - quick question.

Im awaiting points/SCS to be pooled to my account from a flight last sat 25/5.

I need to change the family pooling to replace that member with another member who is flying this sat/sun.

If I change the pool before this weekend in order to get the new family members pts/SCs, this wont affect receiving the points/SCs from the family member who flew on the 25/5 (assuming the transfer still has not occurred at this point)

This is a common question... But fortunately the answer is also well known. Pooling occurs based on the activity date. If you change *now*, your flights last weekend will pool as per you selections back then and flights next weekend will pool based on your new selections. The system generated confirmation emails should state as much when you cancel the existing pooling.

One point worth noting is that the activity date still applies to retro claims. Even if you wait several months, virgin will still distribute points & SCs based on the options you had selected at the time of the flights.

I thought this was the case and that it was based on whatever arrangement you had in place when the activity occurred. Just wanted to double check and not jeopardise any potential SCs or points
