I flew an itinerary with Air Canada back in July, crediting points and status credits to Velocity. The routing was YYJ-YVR-SNA.

The YYJ-YVR leg credited to my account in the usual 3 or 4 days, but the YVR-SNA still hasn't appeared.

I put in a missing points claim, and the status was waiting for partner to respond for a few days, and now received - pending for several weeks.

Any idea what Received/Pending means and any data points as to how long partner claims take these days?

I'm anxious because it was a business class flight so I should get a nice chunk of status credits for it, 80 I believe.

Website says 4-6 weeks
I’d call 13 18 75 if it is more than 6 weeks since the date of claim

I finally have an update on this.

I have been emailing back and forth with Velocity every now and then for a few months, and each time I requested an update, they fobbed me off saying they were still waiting for a response from Air Canada.

I lost my patience and sent this email, copying in Jayne Hrdlicka and Nick Rohrlach:
Hello. Any update on this?
You said claiming from Air Canada would take 4-6 weeks but it has already been more than 6 weeks since I put in my missing points claim. It has been over 12 weeks. This is not “wonderful”.
I’ve never had a missing points claim at Qantas take this long.
Thank you
My missing points and status credits were in my account the next day!

Well done! Would you mind sharing their emails with us?

I don't mind sharing the email addresses (they took a bit of digging from my end to work out) if @Mattg thinks it's OK to post on the forum.

I'm missing a HA flight we took at the start of September, I might have to try the same. One of two legs posted for all three of us.

It's not really my call (I'm the editor but not the owner of the website or a forum moderator), but I believe AFF's policy (as per the Terms of Service) is that the personal details of individuals should not be posted on the forum unless they are intentionally in the public domain anyway and/or the individual has consented to this. So, probably best not to post their email address on here.

Thanks for clarifying your role and for the advice :)
