Hi all
Just wondeirng what the success rate has been for getting QF o waive the assisted booking fee when booking CX. I just tried to book HKG-SIN in J to complete my rtw trip with mrssimongr and am about 3k short of points because of the booking fee - just wondering if other people had actually had success in having that waived?
Cheers
Simon

Not exactly the same but I managed to get the booking fee waived when booking the Oneworld RTW award. I spoke to several customer service agents during the planning stages and most were quite happy to waive the booking fee whilst some wanted to charge it.

Just keep trying until you get the right customer service agent.

It is already booked now and I wanted to lock in the flights to get everything sorted so was "happy" to blow the points - I guess with your OW award due to the complexity that certainly can't be booked online.
