Hello all,

As the title says, I'm a wannabe vagabond, but haven't quite cut the ties to the desk job that pays for my holidays yet.

Just stumbled across this community and it looks great. Looking forward to discussions with fellow travellers.

Safe travels,
E x

Now you know the secret then.

Get a move on, you are only 7500 posts behind me :!:

Yep, have already discovered I need to double my posts before I can respond to a PM

I just hate to postwhore....

Thanks vec. I've been an addict for years; just didn't know there was a support group for it!

Sorry Lawless, you have mistaken, this is not a support group, this is a pusher convention for your addiction! From here you will be lead down the path of further addiction - status chasing, there is some slightly lass harmful products like OPUP's, DONE's and YUP's, but don't be alarmed, they are not listed on the registry of addictions yet... ! ;)

Welcome to AFF! I hope you get a chance to join in a dinner and drinks evening at some stage, you have a choice of a monthly Brisbane meet that member JohnK organises, and we have about (every) 6-7 week meets in Melbourne somewhere which is usually organised by anyone who feels like it.

Plenty of those here Lawless. And welcome from a two bit poster.

The comments about pushers not support group are spot on, watch out for the hard stuff, you know you're getting hard core when you start taking mileage runs...

Cheers skip

And welcome to you too Vagabond, you will find this site addictive and the people here extremely helpful. We also have some 'insiders' who donate plenty of their wisdom as well.

Thanks all for the warm welcome. Sounds like some kindred souls here. Dinner sounds great - I'm all for eating. Do we go somewhere that serves it up in a foil-covered tray and itty plastic bottles of wine?

Cheers,
E x
