have a colleague who think was on QF JFK/LAX/BNE tonight, Thu USA time, who text us to say flight cancelled, but now can't get him. Maybe he's on another flight to LAX ?

Anyone know what got canned out of JFK to LAX ?

QF12 JFK-LAX is in the air right now operated by VH-ZND. It left JFK 2 hours late.

thanks. Maybe they uncancelled it ? or he was on AA or other carrier.

Was Qf 12 delayed ?

Where do you look ?

@ozfflyer I suspect there was something lost in translation.

They may be on an AA flight - but as from the link, QF12 is somewhere over Iowa.

FWIW, the QF12 aircraft normally operates QF16 to BNE - that is currently schedule to depart 50 minutes late at 12:10am.

I am in NYC. Thunderstorms has led to ramp crew temporary stoppages. The news at 6pm reported at least 3 hour delays. QF12 seems to have faired well compared to other airlines

Same weather system impacted other airports. PHL for example with many TATLs having a couple hours delay.

There have been rolling delays at NY area airports tonight of at least 30 mins per flight.
A friend was waiting for the PR flight. The aircraft arrived 1.15 late, departed for MNL 1.30 late. Their connection in MNL tomorrow morning is now doubtful.

I’m on QF16 tonight and it looks like QF96 is taking the JFK jet.

Has us boarding at a bus gate (140).

Funny the type of information that Google has, that didn't used to.
You don't even have to click on the flightradar/flightstats pages - it's right there when you search.
