As I read it, you fly on EK via Dubai. When booking as codeshare using QF flight FF miles and status credits accrue.

Suggestion is to book in Euro.

I note dates into Nov/Dec as well.

Just looking for confirmation that booking the return trip within that timeframe and then changing it later to return to Warsaw into 2017 would likely see a whopping 'fare difference' charge ensue. That is my read of it but just looking for confirmation there are no hacks to get around it? TIA

Oh, really? How far into December?

With these kind of fares, I would expect that you would need to travel on the exact flights booked. Changing the date later is likely to attract a massive change fee/fare difference.
