You will see many of the same posters on this board as you regularly encounter on FlyerTalk. We are also using the "FlyerTalk down" thread to notify everyone when (believe it or not) FlyerTalk is down (I know, a weird usage for a thread with such a title).

Given there are quite a few members of this board who do not seem to contribut to FT (at least, not under the same nicks) this board is good for getting some different angles, so it complements FT well.

Now, how long before you can equal your 16,000+ posts?

I'm off tomorrow for a 2 week honeymoon (yes, tied the knot yesterday), so I will be back with a Trip Report (plus the three I am holding onto already).

No, I do not think I'll be notching up 16,000 posts here - one board is enough for that amount of typing.

Not as fast to navigate around as www.FlyerTalk.com, (and the smileys are nowhere near as nice!) but I do like the feature which advises you of posts to threads.

Arrived back from Dublin yesterday morning, after a marathon 35 hour trip straight through to Brisbane. Never again will I be coaxed to fly straight through..always break somewhere...had to come back for friends wedding today on the Gold Coast. Only had 6 hours sleep on LHR/SIN flight and 3 hours on SIN/BNE, plus 2 hours yesterday...stayed up to watch Brisbane Lions beat Adelaide Crows in the AFL...but now up and replying to the 55 emails in my personal email box.
