I was wondering if many Western Australians are going to Melbourne for the AFL Grand Final.
With 50,000 plus West Coast Eagles members I think a lot of folks must be scrambling to get a flight over seeing driving takes more than two days.

Well I know a Hawthorn supporter that has his ticket from membership via internet this morning...... Encouraged him to sell it for 1k but not interested.... So what's it worth?

We were allocated 10 from our Indian Paciic notes today. We won't be selling them. They will be in the West Coast areas of the stadium I think.

My wife was extremely keen to go however she is only an in the wings member (will probably be on the waitlist at least until the new stadium opens) so was not eligible for the ballot. So we will be watching back here save a minor miracle occurring between now and Friday. We probably should have stumped up for one of the ridiculously overpriced packages.

Worst part was we were in Sydney this weekend so she even missed the Prelim.

Husband has been a Hawks die hard fan since he was young, unfortunately he still can't fly so tix or not he won't be there :(

I phoned Paterson Securities and their wait list for Indian Pacific unsecured notes is long and the price has risen ( this gets you Eagles seats priority) for finals.

Some Perth folks got the Grand Final tickets but then looked at the air fare pricing.

We are going late afternoon on Thursday and back on Monday with QF. We booked the air tickets months ago.
My youngest son is heading for Sydney for the NRL final because the Dockers missed a Grand Final berth.
