Having some time on my hands this week i got around to phoning WBC amex earth platinum which has a $250 p/a fee - 1.5 QFF points per dollar , no cap. I told them i wanted to cancel the card (10k - 15k spend per month ) and they immediately dropped it 50 % and credited the card $125 and future fees will only be $125 p/a. Just a matter of getting around to calling them . Anyone else tried this out ?
