Westpac voucher still valid if cancel Card?

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere....
Can anyone confirm that cancelling the Westpac SG card does not affect your voucher usage?
I'm thinking of dumping the card, but want to be able to use the voucher later in the year.

My understanding is that the voucher is loaded into your profile on the SQ website and wouldn't under normal circumstances be withdrawn ie it is a accrued benefit which you qualified for upon the last renewal not ongoing card use.

There are a couple of different type of voucher rules. Please check which voucher you have by doing a dummy booking for the future travel date and confirm that the voucher discount calculates into your booking. In my case, my voucher expires for travel by 31 March and I am unlikely to use it.
