I tried searching here and on Google but could not find anything really.

As per the title, I noticed today that in my QFF points activity there were 3K points posted a few days ago with the reference "FLIGHT POST BOOKING EMAIL BONUS POINTS".

The last flights I booked were during the DSC promo about a month ago. Some regular cash fares and a couple of domestic Rewards redemptions.

I mean... I'm happy to take the points, but I'm curious about the trigger/cause of this windfall.

Anyone seen this before?

After I booked a flight I got an email to book a hotel for 3,000 bonus points. I did so and got these points, so I assumed it was bonus points from Qantas Hotels.

Interesting. I did have two recent hotel stays booked with QFF, independent of any flight bookings. On 8th Feb and 21st Feb. Must have been something related to these. Although the recent flights were all booked on 27th Feb, and the accom I recently stayed wasn't in a city related to any of the flights.

I’ve also had a couple now and can’t think what it’s for…

I got one on 14 March: "Activity took place on 14 March" - when I was driving from Queenstown to Hobart 🤷‍♂️

I assumed it was for a Qantas Hotel booking 6-7 March, but other than that, NFI.

Same, I have 2x now, one weekend after the other - I have had two QF hotel stays this month, so that makes sense, couldn’t think of any other reason until someone sent me this thread!
