What bird HKG-DOH?

This has come up as an award option on CX for the dates I want. Can anyone shed light on this question? This would connect to QR later to CPH - I know they run the 787 on that route, but unsure about CX HKG-DOH.

As an alternative I could route from BKK and get the QR A380.

I believe CX run a 1-2-1 A330 and QR run a 2-2-2 angled A330.

Correct. I would take the CX option or the QR A380 from BKK
