Cash out doesn’t help at all, in fact it makes it worse. Most stores now have a requirement to “drop” $50 & $100 notes as soon as you get them. Cash in the till should never exceed $300-500 in total so when you get a cash out customer, you will often need to get change to top up the till. The change delivery and drop collection is every two weeks. Cash adds to the robbery incentive but these days they prefer ciggies anyway.
