I'm currently booked on QF149 on Nov28 as stated above, but noticed an irregularity. On seatcounter, all classes have been zeroed out and i am unable to check my seat map for that particular flight, where before i was able. On checkmytrip and on my booking page on the QF site the flight still displays. However on the QF booking engine, the flight is unavailable to be booked, despite the fact that there is a QF150 later in the day.

So has my flight been cancelled or have i just caught a bug in the system?

Regards

shows the hallmarks of a flight that's planned to be cancelled - but not yet cancelled officially. You might want to call Qantas and check, but often the front line staff won't be able to tell you anything more than the flight is pretty full or similar.

I was kind of hoping this would not be a tell tale sign of a flight being cancelled. I'll have to speak to my travel agent, as i was told by QFF, that only my TA could make changes, and i was planning to change my departure dates from both ends, but this has certainly put a spanner in the works.

So how long is it normally from first signs to officially cancelled?

Regards

Well currently the return flight loads are showing, so that's a good sign. If that gets zeroed out in the coming days then safe to say that flight is cancelled.

That's what has me a bit confused, that there is no outbound flight, but there is an inbound one. So it looks like i am playing the waiting game for a while.

I'm just following up in this thread to let you know what has happened. I have bene in contact with QF, and they were adamant that it has not been cancelled. Rather the flight has fully sold out, which is why the flight is not displaying on the website. I hvae made the changes that i wanted and am now doing the following
NOV 28
SYD-LAX (744)
LAX-DFW (752)
DFW-IAH (738)

DEC26
IAH-DFW (M80)
DFW-LAX (763)
LAX-SYD (380)

So if all goes to plan, it will be my first time on the 752,738,M80 and 380.
