Hi

Just looking at some flights to WLG from SYD in mid-late March. Only QF flight I can get is the 08:45 and I would prefer not to leave that early in the morning if possible. There used to be an afternoon flight that got in very late but doesnt seem to exist any more.

Alternatives would be to go via AKL but that means JQ...

Hi Looks Like QF117 goes at 18.00 just checked on Bestflights for 15th March :) and QF48 for the return leg at 15.25

Hope that helps

Checked EF for random dates and QF117 is listed as 1800 - 2315 (16 Mar) and 1845 - 2359 (28 Mar). Is that the one you mean (maybe rescheduled a bit) or were there previously 3 flights?

I guess JQ rather than NZ for the domestic leg is maybe company policy?

Just found that 117 doesn't fly on Sunday...

JQ vs NZ simply because I could get QF SCs - if taking teh NZ option I would have gone NZ all the way (which have a Sunday evening flight). I was tempted but colleague has no status with NZ/DJ so not keen to fly out by himself with no status (it would have been ok on the way back as I have DJ status)
