The new "Woolworths Dollars" have been given a few unflattering nicknames over on this thread: http://www.australianfrequentflyer....iewing-partnership-qantas-frequent-71514.html

I thought we could have a vote and collectively choose our favourite nickname for Woolies' new worthless currency.

The four main nicknames I have noticed so far are:
  • Rupiah/Rupees
  • Pesos
  • Dollaroos
  • Itchy & Scratchy Money

Feel free to cast a vote for your favourite, or suggest your own nickname in this this thread.

Woollies Wons? The South Korean Won is currently worth 0.0012 AUD. About spot on with the Woollies value?

‎Even the symbol looks ok: ₩

I voted for Itchy & Scratchy money but I've since realised it doesn't roll off the tongue as Woolworthless dollars does.

The trouble with this one is the South Korean currency (while low) is still one that's on the rise, can't say that about Woolies.

After a suitable time delay to allow for a meaningful vote, OP please make sure that the manager of the new campaign receives and email with the link and the results.

Happy wandering
