Yes Uber does have a subscription service, it gets you discount off rides and food delivery. Worthwhile if you use it a lot but pointless for a casual user.
When Uber rewards were discontinued, top tier diamind users got 6 months free and I think there was also another promo with a 3 months free if you linked a Mastercard.
Did you perhaps take the freebie but then forget to cancel?
