I know this has been discussed previously, and I think the general consensus was that flights seem to turn up around GMT (ie 10am EST or 11am EDST).

Is this still the case? I've been trying to watch some flights I'm interested in, and just curious what times people see flights being added.

Is partner availability also updated at the same time?

(I know I can 'request' certain flights due to my WP status, but this is more of a general question)

I haven't looked for a month or so, but it seems to be around Midnight UTC at -353 days before you can book online.

There have been reports you can spend the additional 2½K points and call 'earlier' than that the day and book.

Note that partner availability comes available as per the individual partners' criteria.

e.g. One cannot book a QFF award on AA metal more than 330 days out, 90 days on JL.

It really depends on the route, I have been looking at HKG=>LHR award on a daily basis a while ago, and I have notice that they have release HKG=>HEL=>LHR codeshare AY before the QF flight releases....

For this route the delays is about two weeks between partner flights and QF flights release date.

Thanks for the info :)

What I'm really after is how often does Qantas add new flights into the system (not via date rollover to the window opening, but yield management deciding to release new seats). Are they added on a daily basis at a certain time? Or an ad-hoc anytime release?

Any ideas?

Earlier this year (April), expert flyer would show availability for Qantas beyond the advertised limit 353 (You could not do this directly, you had to use the T-353 days and ±3 days).

It no longer does so.

However, when it did I would often see X availability at 356 days, you just could not book it.

Does this imply the AY flights had award availability at > 1 year?
