IME you will land a SG member so will have access to the QP. If the status does not show on your BP, just ask the dragon on the door to check and she should be able to see your new status.

Enjoy the club.

It is possible that they will credit whilst enroute but , ime, international flights can take a day or so to credit so I wouldn't be putting too much hope in it having credited by the time you land; Worth a call to QFF on arrival whiilst taxiing to see whether it has ; if it has then enjoy the lounge

Yeah will see how I go, I am sure even if not credited they will see sense and let me in. If not I can always use a guest pass BUT wanted to give it away but if needed i suppose will have to........

I wouldn't be expecting to get in without the use of a pass unless the system shows you as Gold ; not something that they would be expected to "see sense" over imo

All my recent SFO/LAX-MEL/SYD flights have credited whilst mid-flight.

I was flying with someone in March last year who became WP on the SFO-SYF flight, and when a BP for SYD-MEL was printed in MEL, WP was showing.

Some flights can take a few days, however, the US-AU ones tend to be pretty good I've found (4 from 4 credited whilst mid-air this year).

Worked for American Airlines last week........ The lady @ LAX saw sense. ;)

Just depends on who you get and how you talk to them.

Yeah thanks for that Drewbles. I have had most of mine credit same day as well BUT you know how it is the time you need it, it will take a few extra hours or days..... See what happens. Keep me in the loop for your next SC run over here I will join you next time.

Also sat next to a guy from Brisbane on LAX -> SFO last Thursday he is up for some SC runs next year as well might be able to organize 4 or 5 of us.

My next run is likely to be in March as I usually visit the US for work during this time. I have bigger plans this time though as I have people to visit along the way so may not be able to take part in a mass-sc run sorry :(

This seems to be the case for Qantas flights.

However, the AA flights may take a little longer to post, sometimes 4 or 5 days; even then they do not always post "properly".

markjb, when is you last AA flight before heading back to Oz?
