I've got a decent pile of points in my velocity account and was thinking of using them for a trip to the US later this year.

They really need a setup like QFF where you can see a whole month at a glance for seat availability. After going thru 2 weeks a day at a time with no luck I gave up.

Seem the no blackouts any seat avail claim is only valid for virgin blue :(

Am starting to get the feeling that Velocity is 90% domestic focused - or at least tied mainly to Virgin Blue and Pacific Blue.

I woudl have thought that since they don't book a profit till the points are used they would be doing all they could to get people to burn them, esp when the flights to the US aint that full (from what friend's have told me the last few months).

Not sure what interface you are looking at, but when i do a search it shows me a week at a time worth of options along the top with the best price for each day clearly displayed. You can browse a week at a time at the press of a single button.

I'm confused. I have seats and most prices available on every flight depending on the price seats are going for?
