..you should perhaps be a little more careful about how you behave..

Two examples I've seen in the last 10 days...

A vehicle with Worksafe ACT emblazoned down the side... turning right at an intersection... while the driver talks on his mobile phone.....

A Smart car with Trinity Law beautifully painted on both doors.... parked in a "No Stopping" zone...

:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

OK... I am amused by small things!!!

I've been appalled at the lack of driving skills seen in Sydney over the last week. Talking on the phone (to the ear) while driving is the norm it would seem...

I managed to get someone talking on a phone perfectly last time I borrowed the Father in laws car/4WD. I was turning off a round about, they were waiting to drive on, window down, on the phone - blast from twin airhorns! :lol:

I have noticed that Sydney traffic by times resembles traffic in Mexico City. I have seen some of the worst and most agressive drivers in the world.

I love it when the RTA spend $150m to upgrade a bridge to no where and 'enhance' the traffic flows. :evil:

Oh, so you've never driven in Adelaide? There are 2 types of drivers there, extremely aggressive and extremely passive/politetype ignores ignore the road rules. Aggressive drivers I can cope with, but the polite ones I can't. They'll just stop to let someone in from a side street, don't worry that we've been sitting in peak hour traffic and there are 50 cars behind you, lights turn green and there is a car waiting to turn in at the servo on the other side just drive across the intersection then stop to let them in. Am I ranting much. :oops:

I find driving in any CBD on the weekend a pain. People come into 'the city' and drive ever so slowly looking for that all day unmetered parking spot!

The worst is Melbourne on a weekend with any corner involving a hook turn. WOW. Takes inept to new levels.

I too managed a good one. Driving in peak hour one summers day here in Melbourne, Window down, stuck waiting for the parking lot to move, I hear a loud voice, quite obviously engaged in a conversation where she was the only physical occupant of the vehicle, approaching from the left. As she glided by, I saw quite obviously that she was on the phone whilst driving. When a gap opened up in the traffic, I drove past, and yelled loudly looking at her 'GET OFF THE F'ING PHONE!'. She turned her head right, dropping he jaw in horror at the same time as she threw the handset across the car, in an attempt to not be busted by someone she probably thought was a police officer. I got a good 10 minutes of laughter from that one :)

Driving anywhere close or in a city over the weekend is a pain I find.

Try living in the CBD (as I do). That's all kinds of fun (especially when you want to get out of the CBD at anything but morning peak; then it's great).
