Hi all,
I have a velocity account and too date have claimed emirate and malaysian flights on this account.
I also have a star alliance and qantas account.
I have registered for Emirates Skywards but have not claimed any points- preferring to pool my emirate flights on my velocity account (1. Is this best ?)
I was sent an application for a citibank credit card that gives 1.5 point per dollar spend. 2.Can I get skyward points on this card and then somehow transfer them to velocity so they pool up on the one account ?
I am also considering going from my NAB velocity cards (visa and AMEX total cost of $215) to the Commonwealth Platinum Awards Mastercard card ($200) that allows the transfer of their awards for velocity (1:1). This seems better as I can get more points on master card, where as I can only get 1:1 only on the AMEX - which is not accepted everywhere without a fee. 3.What do you think ? The Commonwealth platinum card also has similar features in regards to insurance, warranty and purchase protection - 4. are there any other difference in features ?
Any help with the above 4 questions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
