I've only just realised that I've booked an N fare, and they do not credit for QF FF program.

If crediting to a different program, can I still use the HKG lounges (QF Gold) on the way to LHR from SYD.

If so, where should they go?

Cheers,

Alaska, British Airways, Cathay (Asia Miles), Finnair, Ibera and Qatar are your only options

Each will earn 25% of miles traveled except Finnair (it's 50%) and Asia Miles (it's range based eg a distance of 5000-7500 earns 3300 miles )

You should be able to show your Gold card to get into lounges but otherwise I'd forego the points and take the lounge access instead (might even be able to do a retro claim later).

Have this exact same issue coming up this week. On the N Class sectors I asked for Asia Miles. ON the L Class I will take the QF points.

The points earn is quite dismal and I doubt I'll ever get enough Asia Miles but it's better to accumulate somewhere half useful.

Upon check-in I'l produce QF Gold card and expect additional luggage and lounge access.
