Where to find Qantas Status expiry on Digital Card / apple wallet

Hi team,

My parents are flying International to Fiji tomorrow. They recently achieved Gold status and have downloaded the Qantas app as well as added it to their Apple wallet. Some observations / questions they had:
1.) They cannot see an expiry date for their gold status on the digital card in the Qantas app, however the card graphic is gold in colour, and it states Gold on their digital card. Is that standard?
2.) The graphic of the card is Red (even though they are gold) in the Apple wallet. No expiry here either. Is that standard?

Unfortunately I dont have the answers, so I thought I would post on here to ask the experts. Will pass on the feedback to the parental!

In the Qantas app on the landing page you should see points and status at the top under your name. Click on the arrow next to the status and then "learn more" and you should see the end date and amount of points need to retain status.

At least that is how it is for me on Android.

Understood. Thanks for that, unfortunately they both have apple phones, unsure if it’s any different.

Plus I think they were more concerned about whether their 2 digital cards has issues based on the questions above and it’s something they need to contact qantas about.

I believe they know how to find their expiry, more confusion on why it’s not listed on the digital cards.
 
It sounds like the gold status has not been applied, or there is something amiss. On the digital card it clearly shows expiry date right under the membership number. However if one if Bronze (or the app thinks they are) then there's no expiry date since that's the lowest level of status (I assume, I have not been Bronze for 20+ years, but would make sense).

I know they would have left now, but I would definitely query with QF about their gold statuis... ie did it already expire (should have been extended I would have thought if it was not new) and/or why that may not have showed.

Certainly it should show on their BP's when checking in with QF (unless flying FJ which may not have it)
 
Hopefully the boarding pass prints FF GOLD SAPPHIRE QF, then you won't need the card.

I would try logging out and logging back into the app. Maybe it hasn't loaded the status change properly.
