Hi everyone need some advise please..

I will be flying T5 to Madrid on the 12th April on BA Business class and wondered what the lounge options are and which is the better I will have around 3-4 hours at the Airport.

Then I fly back from Madrid on the 13th to T5 from where I transfer to T3 and onto QF10 where I shall enjoy the first lounge.

What are my lounge options in Madrid? and more importantly which is the best I expect to have a bout a 2 hour wait?

Thanks

There is quite a nice FF Lounge at Madrid Airport, which you will be made welcome at, food etc and a "nice" view of the planes taking off

The Iberia lounge in T4s is good but if you're on an early flight don't expect much in the way of food options as breakfast doesn't start until about 9am.

Thanks for that my flight is 16.45 back to Heathrow so should be some food one hopes if not will mean I will have to eat more in the First lounge in T3 before departing on QF10 lol

There are two BA business lounges at T5, at either end of the terminal. The larger one, which is huge, sits above the Concorde Lounge (for F) and Spa. So if you're using the spa this is the most convenient. The smaller lounge, which is long and narrow (a bit like the QF lounge in BKK), is located just after security. It might also depend which gate you're leaving from. It can take about 10mins to cross from one side of T5 to the other, and its always crowded.

The OP shows WP so will have access at LHR T5 to the Galleries First lounge at the South end.

As for MAD, the "Velazquez" lounge is in T4S [satellite - non-schenegen half (upstairs)] wich is where the BA flights to London depart

This is a very good lounge geared towards long haul flights with great apron views. You actually can't get to this lounge unless departing from upstairs in T4S.

Can vouch for both the BA F lounge at T5 - Very Good, and the Velazquez lounge at MAD T4S - Good. I was at both in the last week.

If you are arriving into LHR with BA in F & then transiting to the MAD flight (same day) you can access the CCR.

From what you have posted it seems likely that you are connecting.

In any case you can access the BA Flounge.
