Hey guys
Need your help here
I was on PE for flight qf 128 on 6th Jan 11 hkg to syd
Now that they changed the plane and I got upgraded to I class as they don't have PE seats
Questions:
1. I'm on seat 3a at the moment, is the seat alright? Or any other good seats I should try to see if I can get it? Please advice!
2. Do I get business class allowance for luggage? Or as per PE allowance?
3. I'm pretty sure I won't but just to confirm, the status credits I will be getting is PE status credits and not business?

Thanks heap!

If you are in I class then that is business class and you should get the Biz luggage allowance.

Can you advise the aircraft type? If it is a 747 and you are in 3A then that is a great seat as it is in fact a first class seat ;)

It is more likely that you are in an A330 which means only biz class. I personally dont favour window seats so I normally try for 2E - no one climbs over you and you are close to the front.

If however you like the window then 3A is perfectly fine.

Expertflyer is showing the aircraft as a 333 (Airbus A330-300). You can check out the seat configuration at seatguru.

3A is, as simongr pointed out, a window seat. I'm also inclined to go for E or F near the front. E and F are the two middle seats (The seat config is 2 - 2 - 2) and again as simongr says, you don's have people climbing over you to get to the toilets etc, and you don't have to climb over anyone either.

I'm not sure where you sit with luggage, it might be worth a call to Qantas on that one.

Thanks guys!

I stayed in 3A, should have stay in 4J instead because it was a bit annoying trying to climb over through out the trip..the guy who sat next to me pretty much slept thru the whole flight!
