We are flying Sydney to Bangkok next March in J. These are JASA ...thanks guys for educating me to book these....At the moment I have selected 5 A&B. Rows 1,2,3 are blocked as is 4 J&K. I can still book 4 A&B E&F but 4B has a bassinet sign. I presume these are the old seats which is OK as this is a daytime flight. Are there any better seats that I should swap to? We are silver but will be gold by November...first time. Will I see a better selection of seats after that.

Thanks as always for your great recommendations, I have learnt so much since discovering this site. It's the best.

As a couple I would choose AB. I have no issue with my wife waking me up to clamber over my gargantuan frame but I have no interest in another unconnected pax doing the same. AB means you get the window view and pax in B won't feel like they are intruding leaning over pax in A to look out of the window.

My wife would also feel safer knowing I was between her and the aisle... just in case.

I thought row 1 were the bassinet seats? These should be skybed MK1 :(

I'm thinking AB as any view is a good view.

You should have better options once you hit gold, providing they are available. I agree on the window seats, by the way.

It's a 332 international, with 36 Skybed Mk 1 seats configured with 2 cabins of 3 rows of 6 seats in 2x2x2 configuration.

Row 4 are bulkhead (as is row 1).

For me window seats are fine for taxiing, takeoff and landing but since most time is spent airborne, I prefer the E/F seats as no-one has to climb over any one else to access the aisle.

Thanks for all your replies, much appreciate all your views.

As I am unable to book rows 1,2 and 3 are there any advantages in changing our seats 5 A & B to row 4 A & B as this is a bulk head row but has a bassinet sign on 4B. I like these bulk head seats but am a bit worried in case we could be moved due to someone with a baby.
