Is anyone going to Etihad Stadium this Saturday?

I had a chat with the MCG security manager last week, the highest amount to alcohol was sold at a Rugby game (mostly spirits) and they also had one of the lowest ejection rates for the same game - what does that say about events like the Bledisloe Cup and the people they attract ;)

Unfortunately I can't be there. Saving myself for next year.

Might do hong kong

Anyway; I have won one of the 100 double passes to the "Qantas Wallabies Frequent Flyer Pre-Match Lounge", but am unable to use them.

Note - this does not include entry to the actual match.

It's from 4pm to 7pm at a location near the ground.

Any who may be interested, please indicate here.

Actually now that I’ve read about it on QF’s site, I don’t think it’s for me...there’s a limit of two complimentary drinks! I’ll stick with the club floor at the Hilton South Wharf...

Well the lounge coughtails do not start until 5:30pm, besides given the HSW is sold out, it may be a little crowded in the lounge. :p

When there you go. I must have been a bad boy as I still can't make it. I have to do penance for all my sins; we have a 6 year old birthday party on Saturday.

All good points serfty and I don’t want to appear ungrateful :). We’re going to see a show and so we have a pre-theatre restaurant table booked for six therefore I doubt we’ll use the lounge on Saturday night anyway.

Rugby: the game played in Heaven.

A gentlemans game played by thugs!!!!

Nice touch Serfty. In the fraternity we all try to help each other.

And the answer to the original question post event: Not the Wallabies

Well, the "powers that be" again changed the rules/interpretations this year. It seems to have assisted the Kiwi.

I think that refers to rugby league. I always get mixed up but I thought union was a thug's game played by gentlemen. And league vv

Either way the game played in heaven

To Serfty, I also read some interesting thoughts about the judicial process following the game with south Africa and how that favored NZ.
