So, who can own up to being the oldest and longest serving AFF'r ?

Was a thread on this some time ago, so long ago I can't remember :-)

Or do you mean oldest in terms of actual age, rather than AFF time?

A few have been around since the beginning in 2002. admin, QF WP, oz_mark, drron, dajop to name a few.

Of the original members, QF WP is most active ..........

Well not the longest serving as I joined in July 2002 after AFF was set up.
As to age hopefully a few older.I admit to turning 70 in 2 months time.

Isn't all this info in a database on the site somewhere?? I seem to recall getting a birthday wish from the site (didn't I?) and the "Join Date" date is there. Although some folks may not want their age exposed.

Me, I'll be 70 in March next year - nothing to be ashamed off. Three score and ten - so biblically I'm gone next year!

QF WP joined on the 21st June 2002 ...

QF WP lead me here in 3/2003!

I wonder which event in early 2003 lead you here.

July 2004 for me, so past the 12 year mark, I may be a member on another website and I went past 15 years just recently.

April 06 Joined, way past my Christian use by date….

August 2006 which makes me some what of an old timer.

Lived abroad for 4 years so lost contact for some of that time.

Well yes, I was thinking more age related. As someone who has recently joined the ranks of the "seniors" (will be applying for relevant card this week) it occurs to me that sometimes age can be a barrier to frequent flying or once the regular pay cheque dries up.

Health is more a barrier than age, up to a certain age. Which I reckon for me internationally will be around 80. Took mum overseas at 82 but I don't have a daughter to do that for me.

My Dad's 86, He shows no sign of slowing. that said he does fly Premium, and seems to have the resources to keep it that way for some tome to come

does he find it hard to get travel insurance ? is it expensive ?

I'd love to be flying at that age but it seems in my family health goes to carp at 85 for mother and grandmother and I have shown way more issues than them 30 years younger :o

I'm 71 and TID wants about $900 to renew our annual policy. If someone can recommend another insurer I would love to get a quote
