Was looking at the QF in-flight safety demo the other day & I noticed that both the blonde haired parents have blue or green eyes yet they have a brown eyed child.

Is this genetically possible or is the bloke not the real baby daddy?

At least you were paying attention!

Stuff the eye colour!

I'm still trying to figure out if the guy in 2F ever gets to sit down?

They could also have adopted, there’s nothing wrong with that!

Edit: Would love to see this as a featured article for the gazette :p

It's quite possible. The eye colour observed in the parents is only giving you part of the picture. Consider phenotype vs genotype.

You must have been really focussed on that safety demonstration to pick up on that :p

Is it only me, or does anyone else get the feeling that everyone in that video has had a full frontal lobotomy? There's a certain zombie-like vacancy .....

Maybe because the guy in 2F knows he's not gunna get to sit? :-|

I think the guy is an android or robot of some description. Check out his facial expression just after the spiel "each time you fly you'll almost certainly be sitting in a different seat" or words to that effect & he multiplies & sits in a multitude of seats throughout the cabin.

When he turns and looks back over his right shoulder possibly trying to find the ubiquitous exit which may be behind him, he's got this demonic expression in his eyes that wouldn't be out of place in Total Recall.

I'm flying out of Brisbane in an hour and a half. Pity anyone sitting next to me as I giggle my way through watching the video.

I did not bother paying any attention to the safety briefing this morning once I saw the engineer who had signed off on the aircraft ;), I will however pay more attention on this afternoons 763!

"Every time you fly, you are almost certainly likely to develop multiple personality disorder!"

What bright spark came up with that one ;)

Haha, heard about that - the people you meet!

Btw what safety demo do they have on the 717, I can't remember?

Thanks for posting the link MatF, the moment I was referring to is approx 1:30 when the voice over says "look where the crew are pointing"......

I couldn't help but laugh on the 763 flight I just got off to PER whilst watching the demo. I'm sure the FA was wondering what I was laughing about, or just assumed I was drunk from the lounge (which, strangely, I wasn't for a change).

Come to think of it I think that guy could moonlight at International Rescue but as a 21st century 'enhanced' puppet, he'd fit right in sitting next to Virgil on Thunderbird 2! :p

Just love the 'nanna' shoes his Missus is wearing they are just too cute.

I looked closely at the AV more than normal this morning and noted what has been posted here. (eyes, Robots etc.)

OBB, if nothing else, It got me looking ...

.. and yes, that danged doppelganger in 2F still does not get to sit down! :-|
