why are there still no qantas (jetstar) reward seats available to bali from syd or melb in june 2024

I have being trying to book 2 reward seats to bali for june next year over the last month but everytime i check there are no flights from sydney melb or brisbane for june 2024.

plenty of seats available in May 2024. can anyone enlighten me why there are no seats available please?

QF release awards from 353 days out. (=07-07-2024) But is more limited again by QF status. Only QF Plat and Gold get at 353 days. With no status is 297 days out (14-05-2024)

They used to do this however they have not done it on all routes since Covid. Premium awards certainly don't drop that far out like they used to.

Agree is "from" and not "at".
Even before CV19 I got some long haul premium awards before those 353/323/297 days out (as LT Silver)

From my ongoing searches, pretty much ALL QF/JQ reward seats to Asia fall off a cliff from 01 June (including whY, not just Premium seats). The undocumented(?) “blackout” period casts its shadow further.

I miraculously I found a July flight home this year (flying tomorrow) albeit DPS-PER-SYD. We scored SYD-CGK out (which was all I needed to go onto Europe) but from memory it was possible to do a multi-city SYD-CGK-DPS (that didn’t show on the regular searches).

No direct OW options CGK-DPS so it will throw you over to MH via KUL.
Often good Y and J availability SYD-CGK and I’d just grab a cheap revenue flight CGK-DPS

Yes, 300 days for JQ v 353 (max) for QF.
