Why is there no VA Business Reward Seats on a Sunday (PER - MEL)?

I am needing to fly to Melbourne next November (from Perth) and have got some Velocity points I want to use to fly business, and when I search for them pretty much all flights on all dates in November have 1 business reward seat available (at 35,500 points + tax) thought the exception is Sunday.

All Sundays on the several dates I checked (in October, November and December) both to and from Melbourne (from Perth) have no business reward seats - only the ability to spend points at VA's cash valuation (over 200K points which obviously no one should ever do).

Am I missing something here or is this just a glitch or will VA release the Sunday J seats closer to the date (and if so why is this?).

I am prepared to call them though I am unsure what the agent will be able to do if it is not coming up.

Agent wont be able to do anything, it’s at VA’s discretion if/what days/how many seats they’ll offer. If their internal metrics are saying to hold off on Sunday’s for whatever reason ( unbenownst to the general public), there’s nothing you can do but keep checking, or set up an alert on seats.aero or expertflyer.
