Can anyone advise whether there is free wi fi in the Singapore QF/BA lounge. Will Have a few hours to spare and keen to have use of iPad! Thanks.

Thank you for this. Good to have this info before our trip! :)

I was just reading the review of the lounge here. Doesn't look promising.

After reading this sounds as if it will not be great.....I guess I'll have to rely on previously downloaded iBooks and not expect too much Internet access.

Note that Changi Airport has complimentary wifi (at least in T1). You still an access code, however, which can be obtained from one of the information desks. I forget exactly which row of counters it's located at but I'm fairly sure it's well signposted. You did need to provide your passport details, if I remember correctly.

You might find that the airport's free wifi gives a better service than the lounge wifi so it would probably pay to grab a password from the desk prior to going airside.

The QF/BA lounge in Singapore requires a password 6563****, the number/password hasn't changed in a few years. The wifi signal worked well enough to Skype back to Australia when I was there Saturday evening.

Sent from a cool Apple product using Aust Freq Fly app

I haven't been in the business lounge at SIN recently but I have been in the first lounge and the Wi-fi was OK for emails and surfing the web. I presume they share the same connection. By comparison it was better than some other QF/BA Lounges I've visited ie LAX

Recently spent hours at Changi airport business lounge and used their wifi for hours. I found it excellent.

Downloaded Mac updates and lots of things and found it quite fast and no dropouts.

As above ask for the password as you check into the lounge.

I was there a few days ago and the wifi in both J and F lounges was quite good. Downloaded a few episodes of TV shows from iTunes for the flight ahead in next to no time.

Thank you all for this info. It sounds as if we will have good coverage so our wait in Singapore should pass quickly. Cheers, :)

I am there now (here?) and the wifi is fine, just ask at the front desk for the password/SSID.
