Will Qantas in CFS check bags through for EK flights next day?

I have a question for the more seasoned travellers. I wasn't sure where to post it (sorry if it belongs elsewhere.) We have a Qantas reward booking for flights from Coffs Harbour to Sydney on Qantas (in economy) around midday next month and continuing on to Amsterdam with Emirates (in business) at 6.00am the next morning, staying at the new Aerotel at Terminal 1. It's all in 1 booking. We're trying to find out if Qantas will check our bags through to Amsterdam, even if those flights aren't until the next day, or we have to collect our luggage in Sydney, try to fit the bags into the tiny Aerotel room, and check them in at the Emirates desk in the morning. Can't easily get hold of Qantas to ask this question, so am hoping someone here knows the answer? Also wondering how much time to allow to get from the Aerotel in the terminal through customs/security and to the gate (if we don't need to go through check-in again.) Thanks if you can provide any insight into this.

You will need to collect your bags at Sydney and recheck next day. They will not be checked through at Coffs due to overnight transit.
I’d advise checking in with Emirates next morning at 0330- 0400.
This should give you plenty of time to clear immigration and security and get a quick coffee / brekkie in the Lounge before boarding.

Thank you so much for your quick and clear reply. It's not what we'd hoped to hear, but at least now we know and can factor this into our planning. Thanks again.

If you want to maximise time in the lounge airside I would advise checking in as early as possible for the 6am flight. My partner took that flight recently and the queues at check-in were very long. Business was not too bad but still a queue. The kicker was security as everyone was funnelled into the one or two lanes that were open - no priority queue. They got to the gate about 30 minutes before boarding commenced.

Priority entrance for passport control & security are very hit and miss at the moment.

Thank you for that tip, very good to know!

I was curious if the luggage storage service (in the T1 carpark) might be an option, as they do allow overnight baggage storage in lockers, but unfortunately it doesn't open until 6am, so not early enough to retrieve in the morning. Just putting this here for any future readers.

For anyone who may be interested how this went: bags indeed couldn't be checked through and we couldn't check in yet for our EK flights at the Qantas check-in desk nor online with Emirates.

We took the free transfer bus to T1 and checked into the Aerotel, then went to the Emirates service desk to ask what time to check in in the morning (check-in opens from 2.30am!). We were advised to come at 3.45am because business class check-in would be quick anyway and customs doesn't open until 4am, so no use coming earlier as you'd just have to hang around and wait.

We did exactly that and everything went very quickly and smoothly. We had an hour to spend in the business lounge. (Where we witnessed a young bloke down 1 beer and at least 5 whiskeys between 4.15 and 5.15am...!)

PS: The location of the Aerotel is super handy, but be aware that the temperature in the room can't be controlled from within the room itself, the room is extremely tiny, the bed is wedged between 3 walls and not suitable for tall people, and the rooms are a bit noisy from people coming and going.

Thanks for your post. I had the same question for my upcoming flights and could not find the answer on QANTAS website.
I had booked into Rydges Sydney Airport as I've done before. Not cheap but so convenient. After reading your post, I looked at Aerotel and was surprised it was more expensive than Rydges!
