Wilson Parking ending relationship with Velocity May 30th

Frustrating, has been a constant 350-500 points per week for me. Time to look at Secure for QFF!

Not real great earnings here, I get 1 point per $, and it takes up to 2 months to post

Book-a-Bay is 5 points per $. Points used to post very quickly (within 2-3 days) until about October last year when they seems to start coming in batches every 2-3 weeks, and taking a while to arrive.

Shame, I also got a steady stream of points, one of the few benefits of having to find a place to park all around the city when going from customer to customer, I found the Wilson One card very useful as I could just swipe it on entry and be invoiced end of month in one payment with VFF points as a bonus. I'd certainly go elsewhere if there's any other similar options? Will look at the Secure Parking option although not sure if it's anywhere near as good a deal.

Sure, they probably had a few (thousand) empty parking bays for an hour or two but given the parking was all prepaid, what would it matter ?
The bays aren't guaranteed so they literally lost nothing. As ridiculous as it is, if you book a bay you may turn up to find the facility full, although it's unlikely. It's all in the T&Cs (they just direct you to another facility, I assume they'd refund your booking after the fact, but you'd pay time of day rates at the other facility. Has happened to the odd case here and there if you google it - mainly ozbargainer and whirlpool complaints).

This was a good little earner for little effort and a small incentive to use Wilson over other car parks - pity to see it go.

Oh well, if their custom and net income also falls, they may well reconsider. It's all about the $.

This is a shame. I signed up to Wilson One just for the VFF bonus points. I pay roughly $400 a month in parking costs to visit customers, so this was a decent points collection for car parking when you couple it with CC points.

I'd love to know the business reason why they aren't offering Velocity points anymore, as the offering was far better than the Secure Parking-QFF offering which only allowed secure a bay parking to earn points. I can't even use the Secure Parking-QFF offering as I simply don't know what times I will enter or leave one of their car parks (secure a bay).

I'm still waiting on points from the Christmas promo. Put in a claim and called twice only to be told that the transaction is there and eligible but there's only one lady manually processing the large number claims so please be patient.

Not surprised that at least one party is happy to end the relationship.

Interesting, I always get my points sent to me each month, no big delay in receiving them. Not sure what is going on with xmas promo you were part of though...

The problem with reward points is that the points allocation is often a manual process for the company offering points as an incentive e.g. in this case Wilson Parking. I'm sure these processes could be more automated. However, the cost and time to do so is another matter....

Anybody else not receive their entitled points from their May invoice?

Wilson have been ignoring my support requests and Velocity said retro claims should be made through to Wilson Parking on or before the 30 June 2019. A poor response from Velocity considering the points should have been automatically entered into my account. Furthermore, I doubt Wilson would've responded in time as their customer services is just simply awful. Both parties have really frustrated me.

Not happy.

ACA?

ACA?

Hahaha, maybe not that far. Looks like nothing I can do just pissed off as it's not my fault. Another case of Wilson being very poor at customer service.

The only thing I can od in fact is avoid Wilson parking as much as possible and use Secure. If Wilson wont as much as respond to my support requests they can get stuffed.
