I was reminded of this thread last night at the end of 17 hours of travel TATL followed by a couple of US domestic connections... the last flight was delayed and as the only passenger in F I curled up in a double seat and used the wide centre armrest of the seat in front as a foot rest. Shoes off, but with socks. Was quite comfy and I managed to sleep for about 70 minutes of the 90 minute flight. I was woken by a flight attendant who was using one of the seats in front (where my feet were poking through) to take photos of the T-storms outside. Dunno how long they had been sitting there but they didn't seem too concerned!
