Worth hassling Qantas to get PS card?

HI All,

So i made PS for first time in Feb ( this site made me realise maybe frequent flyer points etc are worth while hah). I still have not received my card? I am a QC member and have that card, so will they still send a PS card out ?

I am going to have about 4 or 5 internal flights in USA in July and am curious if it is worth hassling Qantas to get my card so i can use the business check in? First time doing domestic in USA but i assume lines could get bad and if so maybe the business class AA check in is worth it? Or does my QC get me this too?

The Silver card with OR Ruby logo will come in handy on AA for priority checkin, free luggage, priority security (I believe) and priority boarding, I’m not sure Qantas Club provides anything more than lounge access.

Lately cards have taken upwards of a month to be delivered, how long have you waited?

No worries!

It should be on it’s way, you could try calling up during business hours and talk to the frequent flyer service centre, depending on who you get, they can generally see when your pack was sent out, or when it’s scheduled to be sent out.

I qualified for gold on April 8th and received my Gold Card & boarding passes on Friday (May 6th) so I would chase up your Silver card.

It's definitely worth it with the AA benefits. As a note, I qualified (QP)PS on 17 March. The pack was sent out on 3 May, and received in the mail (in Singapore) today (9 May). If such "umimportant" frequent flyers such as myself has received the pack, surely you should demand to have yours sent to you too.

Mrs nonpop qualified for PS 4th March for the first time.
QF package received April 29th.

Woooo! It arrived today! Yay! lol. only got 1 more flight til im gold but hey lets hope that comes quicker than this did!

As i am a QC member already, can i use that comp invitation to bring an extra guest in one time or is it linked to my name?

I was going to say congrats, but I think I would wait till you take the next flight.

You can use the invitation to bring an extra guest, or pass it to anyone you like.

Don't hold your breath on the Gold one appearing quickly.

I qualified in March for WP and the pack only just arrived last week, after 7 weeks and 1 day.

I had still never received a NGCI Gold kit before that either (was hoping that would make it through before the WP one, but to no avail).
