With the well used and fully established F1 thread, i thought we could have another in playground for WRC (and other motorsport) (rather than distract those only interested in F1).

Highlights, discussion, pics, tips for attendees etc.

There have been a number of random attachments in other threads so time to branch out and start a new one!

Mods may like to move relevant posts over from other threads here.

Well it was a great result for M-Sport, their first win since Rally GB in 2012. Contrary to what a lot of people may think, this isn't an official factory team, Ford give some sponsorship and some access to their technical areas, but all in all it is done in a small town in coughbria.

Hopefully Ford will see the benefit of having the best driver in the world (regardless of format) being in a Fiesta and will give M-Sport much more help!

Now off to Sweden, I was fortunate enough to go there in 2013 and as long as you are dressed appropriately and it doesn't rain, it doesn't feel cold!

Another good thing about this rally is that you can get quite close to the cars, the trees make for good cover if something bad happens. However, if a car does leave the road then quite often the snow sucks them in and it won't go far.

Even better when being driven by guys like former world champion Petter Solberg.

Probably my favourite racing car.

Agree with you on the Rothmans Porsche. Epic car. I assume you've been to the Porsche museum in Stutgart?

I was going to guess Spa but that's possibly wrong.

I went to the museum a long time ago and without a camera! Yes your initial guess is correct, Spa. We drove around the old road circuit on the Monday, as I have said earlier in another thread, one of my few regrets in life, was not taking more photos!

Some various shots from Sardinia. Yes you can get that close, however after Monte Carlo this may change...

Don't normally take photos of food :) however delights on offer at a spectator point.

A really, really good restaurant in Alghero selling only products from local suppliers, apart from the alcohol on display!

Some more.

Guy with the scarf is a well known presenter on 'Rally Radio', Colin Clark. What a great job he has, imo!

Anyone that has been following F1 in the last 10 years will recognise this driver.
