ZNZ availability

Hi all,

Travelling to eastern africa next august and finishing in zanzibar. Was hoping to get an award J ticket out with QR.

There is a ZNZ-DOH service - I can see plenty of availability up until the 31st May 2019, and then it just disappears. Both in Y & J. The service still exists. Anyone have any explanation why?

QR has been doing lots of funny things with availability lately. I suspect they've just blocked the availability as June is getting into peak period. You might have to look at alternatives or wait a few months to see if they release any more seats.

Thanks for the reply Matt. Relatively new to making redemptions with QR so trying to figure out there availability. Hard to get a read on it all! And not just this route in particular. Redemptions in and out of oz appear fairly nonexisitent as well. Looking at leaving from DAR but would be nice to leave directly out of ZNZ and avoid the ferry flight.

Yep, pretty much no availability out of Australia being released now either.

My advice is to book out of DAR now if you can. You can always change it to ZNZ if you happen to find a seat later.

Yeah that’s the plan. The plan was to get on QR out of oz but yeah no availability so going to SIN and then onto QR. but will keep an eye out in case availability opens up.
