Over the last 9 years I have been working in NW Tasmania-Burnie and Latrobe. All up I have spent nearly 3 years working here.I love the place.I am a self appointed ambassador for the North West.So here in no particular order is a pictorial of the last 12 months.First during August I had my sister visit so the first few posts will be of that visit.
The first day we lunched at Hellyers-a whisky distiller but a good lunch restaurant.Simple but tasty food.A beef and a scallop pie.

Not a bad view. The properties here are well looked after with a great floral variety no matter what time of year.As anywhere in Tassie you are liable to come across something different. That day was Highland cattle.

Tasmanians are good at growing South African natives. After this little drive we went to Ferny Glade.A nice picnic spot.Peaceful in winter.
