EPIC EPIC
I will take advantage of this
Will be seeing you in the VA J cabin soon?
... MEL-LAX-MEL very nice, even if it means putting up with the coughpy VA "lounge" in LAX
From the ausbt story it mentions quite a few partners, but Citibank isn't one of them.
Would this 15% bonus apply to citibank too?
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
Tough it does say "All of Virgin's banking partners – including American Express, Westpac, ANZ and the Commonwealth Bank – will be taking part in the promotion." Having said that the equivalent promotion last year did not include Citibank! Guess we will see in next day or so.
J to / from LAX looks pretty attractive IMHO - was 94K pts e/w - apply your stated 30% disc and see how it stacks up?Well at effectively 30% off...what are the best value VA redemptions that can be taken advantage of?
As much as I don't want to, I have about 300,000 points sitting with Commbank on two accounts that I'll transfer across to Velocity given they can't be moved anywhere else except Air NZ.
As it stands now I just want to burn all my VFF points and have nothing to do with Virgin EVER again (unless JQ takes over all QF routes)... I am done and dusted with Virgin and hope to never ever fly them domestically and will burn my 2 million FF points on flights to/from the USA.
Must have burned your two million points quickly to want to transfer more?
Will be burning about 400K in the next day/two and another 800K shortly after on EY
Given that there is nowhere else to transfer CommBank points (Air NZ seems rubbish to me) they may as well transfer to Virgin and I'll burn them up over the next 6 months on more bookings
