Hi All

Just seen that you can select seat preferences on your VA FF profile. About bloody time. Lets hope this works well
I alos see that is in effect from November 11, I hope this is not how long it will take for them to release the Platinum status.

Great news! Been after this forever, i love row 18F on the 737-800's and 16F on the 737-700's. I'm a wing and window man .

Don't ignore the grey fine print either:

From November 2011 the Virgin Australia group of airlines will endeavour to accommodate your requested seat preference whenever possible. Selected seat preference may not be available on all flights.

November is a little way off...

I just really hope in the future when you are booking a flight they have a "Seat Selection" page like other airlines.

As we know just recently when you book it says what aircraft will be operating that flight, so since they have that and now this we could see this happen :D.

But we will just have to wait and see... ( do not know how many times i have said that now... hate it when they keep us hanging )

Cheers.

I only just updated my preferences on Monday and that wasn't there then, so very new addition (or I'm as blind as a bat ).

Done now, aisle for me........just 'cause I like a bit of elbow room (just have to watch Gelignite Jack Murray isn't driving the trolley )

Re: Aisle/Window preference Available in November! (Set your's now!)

Also wondering if the ability to select forward middle or rear of the pane will be selectable also

Putting my preference for an Aisle in now.

I wonder what November signifies? Some sort of computer system upgrade? If the current system was able to do it I'm sure they would have enabled the feature on the spot.
