Was just on the Virgin website and on the Home page there's an ad (top right hand corner) for "Business Class Sale, Fares from $279 (Syd-Canberra)" etc etc, but clicking on the ad or the Book Now button just takes you to the "Best Fares" page for Sydney and there are no business class sale fares listed on that page as far as I can see - even tried doing a few dummy bookings for various dates/destinations but no business class sale fares showing up anywhere - anyone know any details of this sale such as date ranges etc? Or am I just dumb and looking in the wrong place?

ETA: Have had a bit more of a hunt around with the some more dummy bookings and it looks like February J fares are cheaper - they're not marked as sale fares on the flight selection page, but are a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than normal between Perth and Sydney or Melbourne.

February is the quietest month for air travel. There are always big sales on for Feb.

I booked a trip in March 2013 using this offer and scored 70% off Business (by combining it with a Virgin Flyer card 2-for-1 offer).
Can't complain about that! It comes out at about a typical Economy return fare for two of us (although the current Economy sales would be cheaper still, but who wants to fly Economy).

I got a message from the Virgin iPhone app this morning $299OW J fares SYD-BNE on sale until 19 March for travel 7 April - 31 August.

This is cheaper than the offer I posted above (which I fly on Friday).

Virgin Business Class Sale

Got an email from virgin saying that their business class sale ended on Tuesday - I might have missed something but I didn't know they had one on.....

Checked on their site and there is a promo on. If this has been mentioned in a thread before (and i'm going blind) my apologies

Re: Virgin Business Class Sale

I think it is a fresh promotion, I got an email about it this morning. Somewhat ironically it arrived after I got off the plane, doing a point redemption J flight to get myself up to silver. I'll have to see if I can use it short track getting to Gold.

Re: Virgin Business Class Sale

It's not a fresh promotion, just an email to say the sale ends tomorrow. It has been on for [-]at least[/-] just under a week.

Came out on the 13th March with QF matching it:

Matching timing to the VA J sale.

Re: Virgin Business Class Sale

wish i'd seen it a week ago - i needed 130 to get to gold for a particular status run im doing (its sad when you need a certain level before you go on a status run, but whatever lol) - i wouldn't have nearly needed to get so creative a few days ago if i had have noticed this. VA - if u r reading this - send out your emails at the start of your promotions, not at the end please :)

Re: Virgin Business Class Sale
